Ceremonial Oath was formed in 1989 by Oscar Dronjak under the name Desecrator. They recorded a demo in 1990 under the name Desecrator before changing to Ceremonial Oath. During their short career they released 2 demos, 1 EP and 2 full albums. Oscar left the band before the release of their first album in 1993.
